Ordering & Minimums
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order. You can order as few as one hat. The pricing structure rewards larger orders: free digitizing at 12+ hats, free shipping at 24+.
What is the digitizing fee?
$45 one-time fee for orders under 12 hats. This converts your logo into an embroidery stitch file. At 12+ hats, this fee is waived entirely.
How much does side or back embroidery cost?
+$5 per hat per placement. Front embroidery is always included in the base price.
What is 3D Puff embroidery?
A foam-backed embroidery technique that creates a raised, dimensional logo. Costs +$5/hat and works best with bold, simple designs.
Artwork & Files
What file format should I send?
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) are preferred. High-resolution PNG or JPEG (300 dpi+) also works. Upload at checkout or email support@hatdayshop.com.
What if my logo is too complex for embroidery?
HatDayShop will flag any issues during the proof process and suggest simplifications. Nothing changes without your approval.
How big can my embroidered logo be?
Front: ~5″ wide × 2.2″ tall. Side and back: ~74mm wide × 2.2″ tall.
Proofs & Production
Will I see a proof before production?
Yes. A digital proof is provided before anything is stitched. HatDayShop also performs an internal test stitch before the full run.
How long does production take?
Approximately 10–14 business days after proof approval. Proof turnaround is ~3–5 business days.
How are hats shipped?
Via UPS or USPS. Shipping is free on orders of 24+ hats.
Reorders & Accounts
Do reorders cost extra for digitizing?
No. HatDayShop stores your artwork on file. Reorders have no setup fee.
Can I change the color on a reorder?
Yes. Specify a new color when placing your reorder. The embroidery file stays the same.
