What Makes a Good Embroidery-Ready File

• Clean, solid colors — gradients do not embroider well
• No thin lines below ~1mm — they collapse in stitching
• Text should be at least 4–5mm tall for legibility
• Transparent or white background preferred for raster files
• Fewer colors = cleaner result and lower thread count

What Happens After You Submit Your File

1. HatDayShop reviews your file for embroidery compatibility
2. Your artwork is digitized — converted to an embroidery stitch file
3. A digital proof is sent to you showing colors, placement, and sizing
4. You approve the proof or request changes (no charge for reasonable revisions)
5. Production begins after approval

I only have a low-resolution logo. Can you still use it?

Sometimes. HatDayShop will review the file and let you know during the proof stage. Vector files are always better — if you have a designer, ask for an EPS or AI file.

How do I submit my artwork?

Upload at checkout on HatDayShop.com, or email your file to support@hatdayshop.com after placing your order.

Will my logo colors match exactly?

Embroidery uses thread colors, not ink. HatDayShop will match as closely as possible using available thread. Your proof will show the exact thread colors selected.

What if my design needs to be simplified?

HatDayShop will flag any issues in the proof and suggest simplifications. No changes are made without your approval.
